We had a hell of a difficult weekend at the infamous disaster known as Elements Festival 2021 in Lakewood, PA. A hurricane blew through, causing Bonnaroo to cancel their festival just hours before it was to begin.
The idiots at Elements then quickly sold more tickets, quickly filling the venue to over capacity and nearly ruining the experience for everyone.
I had a tough group of campers with me, including my good friend Mark. He braved the mud and the rain for days without complaining one time. He was an absolute joy.
At the end of our festival, he passed me his Giving Pendant and explained how it worked.
I’ve been sitting on it for a couple of years, but now I am heading to Friendship next month and I am hoping to make a new friend that is worthy of this pendant.
